Magomed Magomedov — Summa Group
The story of Magomed Magomedov, the Summa Group case, and the related assets.

Magomed Magomedov is the brother and business partner of Ziyavudin Magomedov. The case file describes his story in the context of the Summa Group, its stake in Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP), FESCO, and other transport and infrastructure assets.
Magomed and Ziyavudin Magomedov were arrested on 31 March 2018. In October that year, their stake in NCSP was sold to Transneft for approximately US$750 million. In 2022, a court ordered the proceeds to be transferred to the state in a civil claim; the brothers contested the claim.
On 1 December 2022, Magomed Magomedov was sentenced to 18 years in a high-security penal colony. According to the client-provided case file, his term was later reduced by six months; in May 2025, the cassation court upheld the sentence.
